Ring RAC750 Compressor Pump
This is a really quick excellent product. The pressure gauge is useless but most serious car and motorbike enthusiasts use separate gauges anyway. It inflates really quickly and does what it says on the box. Some have complained about the short hose and lack of cable storage space but it all fits nicely in the supplied bag and I don't try to put the flex away - just tuck it into the bag. A good extension lead is a must to make this compressor easy to use. It has made my life easy and the 12 tyres I have to check and inflate are made simple by the speed of inflation. All-in-all, I am pleased with the way it works. Just a pity that cost savings have been made in places.
Pros; powerful air pump which quickly inflates then tyre. Cons: The air hose could be longer and made of better materials. I expect to have to replace it at some time. Also, the mains cable is very stiff especially in cold weather and it is unlikely that I will ever attempt to coil it tightly to get it back in the built-in storage compartment, I did not expect to carry the pump around in the car so it will be simply left out on a shelf in the garage. When out of warranty, I will replace the mains cable with a more compliant type.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well and fast.
As a pensioner with a dodgy back keeping the tyres on 2 cars up to pressure with a footpump was not a lot of fun. I had tried a pump that plugged into the car cigarette lighter but it was very slow and I was concerned that it would flatten the battery. This does the job quickly and takes most of the work out of the process. Once you take the mains lead out of the compartment in the pump it is all but impossible to get it back in and then fit the pump in the pouch provided so I am using a carrier bag for storing it and my wife uses the pouch for dog grooming stuff - so a good result overall.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Compact pump
A great little pump works very well. The only tiny niggles the compartment to hold the mains lead is just to small to use properly. A bit like the Cripton factor trying to get it back in after use I bet you leave it out in the end. I wouldn’t trust the gauge to be totally accurate you have to turn it off to get the reading it’s a good 10lb over while the pump is running. The bag it’s suposidly kept in after use is a total waste. They really need to check quality control fell to bits after three uses :-( I would have been happier to pay that little bit extra for a good quality bag. Makes short work of inflating tyres
The inflator makes short work of inflating tyres even if they are partially deflated. It is so much better than the 12 volt machine that I had used previously. The compressor is not too unbearably noisy when it is running. The built in pressure gauge does not seem to be accurate but I use an independent gauge to check the pressure. Storage bag is a plus
After wasting money on numerous 12v inflators decided to get this mains powered. It is expensive but as they say "you gets what you pay for" So far very pleased with it, so much quicker. Really good compressor
Great compressor but just be careful with the attachment to the tyres valve as it's pretty stiff to close onto the valve and I ended up cutting the end of my finger on it quiet badly took a nice chuck off the end! Does the job but has the issues.
Works OK - Pressure gauge dial frustratingly small to read. Main problem is that the power lead compartment is so small you will never be able to get the uncoiled power lead back in without probably breaking the little plastic door trying to get it to clip in place. Poor design on these 2 issues. It is amazing that a single use gadget can't be designed without these elementary faults.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well
It inflates car tyres well but it would be much improved if the pressure gauge was accurate, the hose longer and the storage for the hose and cable were bigger.
